Talakona is also known for lord “Siddheswara Swamy Temple”, which is located very near to the Talakona waterfall. As per the local, the temple was built some 140 years ago. Devotees visits Talakona in huge crowd during Shivarathri festival. In Talakona we have a waterfall of 270 feet and it is the highest waterfall in the Andhra Pradesh state. Talakona area was declared as a biosphere reserve in 1989 due to the presence of rich variety of flora and fauna. And we have a 240m long canopy rope walk in Talakona.
